ReplyDeleteAPRIL FOOL´S DAY OR ALL FOOL´ DAY.
Is a day celebrated in many countries on April
1st but in Latin America and Spain this day is celebrated on December 28 th "Día de los Inocentes",in France and Italy and is called "April Fish",and in Brazil, it is called "lie Day". The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. Traditionally, in some countries, the jokes only last until noon: like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa, someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool". Elsewhere, such as in Ireland, Russia, France, and the U.S., the jokes last all day.
THE ORIGIN OF APRIL FOOLS´DAY.
One likely theory is that the modern holiday was first celebrated soon after the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar; the term referred to someone still adhering to the Julian Calendar, which it replaced. In many pre-Christian cultures May Day (May 1) was celebrated as the first day of summer, and signalled the start of the spring planting season. An April Fool may have been someone who did this prematurely. Another possible origin lies in the fact that when King Charles IX of France officially changed the first day of the year from April 1 to January 1, some of his subjects continued using the old system. In the eighteenth century the festival was often posited as going back to the time of Noah. According to an English newspaper article published April 13, 1789, the day had its origin when Noah sent his dove off too early, before the waters had receded; he did this on the first day of the Hebrew month that corresponds with April. A possible reference to April Fools' Day can be seen in the Canterbury Tales (ca 1400) in the Nun's Priest's tale, a tale of two fools (Chanticleer and the fox), which took place on March 32.
It day is important that you not to give any object or money, because you could lose it.

I read the others examples, I like very much the National Tell a Joke Day, it is fun, and interesting because the people are laughing on the date. And think that world Smile day and World Hello day, they are holidays very positive.It think the persons are feeling better.

I´m going to write about the "Day of the dead" because it´s holiday going to be the other month, wii
The day of the dead is a holiday that celebrated in Mexico in my opinion it´s one the most important holidays in the country**
the poeople build altars and the common symbol of the holiday is the skul, "la calaverita"
for celebrating this "fiesta" often decorated with white frosting to look like twisted bones too going to eat too food and sugar an the delicious cholate and "pan de yema" mmmm

National Ice Cream Day is 3rd Sunday in July and the Ice Cream Day is on December 13
In this day people enjoy an ice cream cone,or a different kinds of ice cream.(sudae or a milk shake).
In 1984 Ronald Reagan proclaimed July is as National Ice Cream month,also he established Ncional Ice Cream Day as the third Sunday in the month.
The ice cream is nutritious,but sometime is heavy and... over-sweet =/,also an ice cream can be delicious.
Among other things Charles E. Minches of St. Louis,Missouri is the who invented the ice cream cone.
I think that this is the important of the text.
I think that the ice cream day can be so fun

The national video games day. It's going to be on july 8th. there's going to be changed the way your kids play games and play playing video games, make this a marathon day for video games.
People are going to buy X box, nintendo and things lake that.
you can play nintendo, X box and atari,
you can invite at your best friend and anothers persons at the competition video games.

ReplyDeleteI´m the inventor, of this day, it´s going to be very fun and interesting for me, because:
Cheese day it´s going to be on july 19, there´s going to be concerts (u2) and the exposition of different kind of cheese.
Everyone is going to bicycle competitions, and everyone is goiin to eat tacos, tlayudas of cheese.
You are going to buy a lot of food.
The other texts that very interesting for me, I prefer the ice cream day, because the ice cream is very delicious.

ReplyDeleteThis holiday it's on October 7th, and eveybody is going to go to the World Smile Day.
It's was made by the U.S. Congress.
The smale face it's so popular in this country because You can help one person to smale =).
This celebration is very good for me, because helps to world.

ReplyDelete*On the next November 25th we're going to enjoy a better day of the year, "MEDITATION DAY", in the Buda's park since very early.
*Everybody is begining the first sesion with Aurora recognized in all the world; others like Benedicto, Socorro, Auxilio and many more we'll meet and we'll talk with them, it's an excellent oportunity, come and meet us.
*We're going to eat and drink many things free, all related about aromatics sustances, get your health!!
